Pair of consecutive Costa Rican 5 Colones remainder banknotes, cataloged as Pick PS122r, issued by the Banco Anglo Costarricense during the 1903–1917 period and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., London. The notes feature an early Costa Rican portrait on the obverse and an ornate engraved design on the reverse. Both examples retain original, fresh paper and are graded UNC-, showing very light signs of handling, including minor stains, with no evidence of circulation. Consecutive remainder pairs from this classic early Costa Rican issue are scarce and highly desirable among collectors of Central American banknotes.
